Drogba, Modric, and the hunt for a striker
A lot of talk in the papers today, Tottenham still hoping to sign a big name striker or two and a few different names are being thrown around. Spurs will try and complete the signing of Leandro Damiao for around £12m from Internacional. Meanwhile, Chelsea plan to offer Didier Drogba in part exchange for midfielder Luka Modric - Chelsea and Spurs will also battle over the signing of Jack Rodwell.

Spurs Transfer News
Like every transfer period, there are many rumours of various signings floating around. Some more plausible than others. Here is a brief summary of what has actually happened at Tottenham so far.
Goalkeeper Brad Friedel has decided to join Spurs after a successful run at Aston Villa.
Modric has stated that he wants to stay, but will be forced to leave if Redknapp decides to sell any of our other big names.
Cudicini has renewed his contract, and as Gomes has fallen out of favour, may become Tottenham's new first choice.
